GMS Care Network is an assistance program with services to help you with your physical, mental, financial and social wellbeing. GMS Care Network services are available 24/7/365 by phone, through the app, or on your desktop. 

What’s included: 
 - Virtual Primary Care. Talk to a Canadian-licensed general practitioner by phone, video or text message. Use this telemedicine service to get help with minor medical needs, digital prescriptions, and more. Plus, you own and manage your health record of these consultations.   

 - Mental health and wellbeing support. Talk to an expert about stress, anxiety or depression, or consult about legal matters, financial planning, career and life transitions. Talk by video, phone, or in person. Crisis support is available 24/7/365. Don’t feel that your provider is a good fit for you? You can unmatch yourself and choose a new provider. It’s that simple.

 - Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. Support your mental health with the online self-directed cognitive behavioural therapy program.  

Yes. GMS Care Network takes the utmost care to protect the identity of anyone who uses the platform.

GMS Care Network provides each person covered under your plan with 5 hours of counselling services every policy year. There’s also an additional 5 hours of counselling for couples.  

Yes, you can. You may be able to submit your receipt for reimbursement under your GMS health plan. Check with us to ask about your available benefit amount and provider eligibility. 

Yes. GMS Care Network Client Care Representatives will be able to confirm if that counsellor is a current provider or associated with the assistance program. If they’re not part of the network, GMS Care Network would be happy to refer you to a professional who already is.
