Submitting Baggage Claims

Processing your claim may take up to three to four weeks

Your claim is very important to us, but due to the impact of COVID-19, we’re experiencing a high claims volume. Processing your claim may take up to three to four weeks. Please know we’re working hard to process as quickly as possible. Thanks for your patience and understanding during this uncertain time.

Step 1:

Download the GMS Baggage Loss, Damage & Delay Claim Form. A completed claim form must be submitted within 12 months. Make sure you include the following documents.

  • Travel dates
  • Claim with transportation carrier
  • Payment for all submitted expenses
  • The police report (if applicable)

Step 2:

Email your completed claim form with receipts and supporting documentation to travelinquiry@gms.ca.

Sending in your claim by email will save you time. But if you’re unable to, please refer to the mailing address at the top of the claim form.
