CNIB Regina - "That All May Read" | 2004
In 2004, Group Medical Services donated $4,000 to the Canadian National Institute for the Blind's "That All May Read" program for the purchase of two playback recorders for visually impaired residents in Regina.
The focus of the "That All May Read" program is to purchase digital payback recorders for CNIB clients. Playback recorders enable the blind to play content from the CNIB's extensive digital library of talking books, children's print Braille books, Braille music and descriptive videos. Regina is home to the largest collection of these materials in Canada, alone housing a collection of more than 300,000 talking books.
