| Government Advisories and Visas | Travel advisories issued by the Canadian Government recommending against travel to the country you are scheduled to visit or the non-issuance of travel visas for reasons beyond your control. |
| Employment and Occupation | Loss of permanent employment or relocation due to a job transfer; a cancelled business meeting. |
| Delays and Schedule Change |
Delay in travel due to weather conditions, mechanical failure, a traffic accident, emergency, police-directed road closure, airline schedule change or cancellation of an event that was the purpose of your trip that cause you to miss a portion of your non-refundable prepaid travel arrangements. |
| Other Risks | Delays due to natural disaster; an act of terrorism before or after departure; hijacking or forced quarantine; jury duty or subpoena to be a witness; default of travel supplier. |
