John Salmond, President of GMS, didn’t hesitate when he was asked to take part in STARS Rescue on the Prairie.
His challenge? Hop on a helicopter on August 24th, be dropped in a remote location and go through a series of survival challenges. All this, plus John must raise $50,000 for STARS Air Ambulance to earn his return flight home before the day is done.
“At GMS, we’re in the business of helping people maintain good health, and providing protection if they're faced with a medical emergency,” John said. “It’s an honour to take on this challenge to support the great work of STARS as they provide life-saving emergency medical transport across the prairies.”
Rescue on the Prairie participants are fundraising as much as they can in advance of their August 24th drop date. If you would like to learn more about the work of STARS, the Rescue on the Prairie challenge and help John reach his $50,000 fundraising goal, click here.
